Policies and Guidelines

For a smooth and enjoyable stay at Starlight Lodge at Rockport Harbor, take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. Below, you'll find detailed information on reservations, cancellations, check-in and check-out procedures, and other essential guidelines. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help.

Cancellation Policy

A one night deposit will be taken at time of reservation. A cancellation reminder will be sent to you 10 days prior to your visit. The remaining balance will be processed 6 days prior to your check in date if no cancellation is requested. This will guarantee your reservation. If cancellation occurs within the cancellation period, the whole balance will be forfeited and no refunds will be made. However, if we are able to resell your room we will refund you your reservation amount or we can reschedule your visit to an alternate date.  Unfortunately, we are not able to refund for checking out early. In case of a NO SHOW, the guest will be charged 100%. We may require full payment at reservation for special events and holiday stays. 


Check In and Check Out

Check in is after 3:00 PM and check out is at 11:00 AM. On the day of your arrival, you will receive a text with your check in instructions along with your room number and door code so that when you arrive, you can go directly to your room. For your convenience, there is no need to stop in the office for check in or check out. We purposely leave you alone as much as possible so that you can enjoy your stay but we are always available. Please make sure that we have your correct CELL phone number and contact information. If you have any concerns or problems with your stay, please feel free to call or text at 207-236-3276.


Smoking Policy

Please be advised we are a smoke free hotel. This includes all rooms, porches, patios and public spaces. If you must smoke, you must be at least 25 feet away from all buildings. Your cooperation is appreciated for the enjoyment of all guests. We ask that you be respectful of the property and dispose of your cigarette butts in the receptacle provided. If any residual smoke or cannabis smell is left in the room, a $250 fee will be charged to your credit card.


Pet Policy

A one-time dog fee of $25.00 per dog will apply (limit 2 dogs). Unfortunately there are a few breeds that are not accepted by our insurance and cannot stay at the Lodge; Pit Bull, Bull Terrier, German Sheppard, Rottweiler, American Pit Bull Terrier, Akita, Doberman, Wolf hybrid, Chow, Bull Mastiff, American Bully, American Staffordshire Terrier, Presa Canario and Shar-Pei. Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Please do not leave your dog alone in your room for an extended period of time. We ask that you please pick up after your pet and dispose of it properly in the provided doggy bags located all around the property and garden. Any damage caused to the room, its furnishings or any other part of the hotel are your sole responsibility. I understand my account will be charged the cost of such damages. NO CATS, REPTILES, OR BIRDS. If your dog likes to lay on the bed, please bring a blanket/sheet to lay over our comforters. The use of the grounds and dog park are to be used at your own risk and responsibility to insure respectful interactions with other dogs and guests. 


Lobby Hours and Information

The lobby is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. We are available by phone or text for questions or concerns.  After hours, we politely ask that you text us at 207-236-3276 unless it is an emergency. Please make sure children are accompanied by an adult in all areas. We have complimentary coffee and tea in the office from 8 am to 11 am. We do not have daily turn service. If you need anything in your room, please text us by 11 am so we can have housekeeping respond to your request. Please feel free to contact us at any time for information on local amenities and package offerings. 

FOR YOUR SECURITY AND OURS, PUBLIC SPACES ARE MONITORED WITH VIDEO AND AUDIO AT ALL TIMES.

Please enjoy your stay and we would love to hear your feedback on the survey that will be sent to you approximately 2 days after your departure. If there is anything we can do to remedy issues or enhance your visit please let us know during your stay.
