Policies and Guidelines

For a smooth and enjoyable stay at Starlight Lodge at Rockport Harbor, take a few moments to familiarize yourself with our policies and guidelines. Below, you'll find detailed information on reservations, cancellations, check-in and check-out procedures, and other essential guidelines. Booking with us is deemed consent to our policies so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help.

Cancellation Policy:A one night deposit will be taken at time of reservation. This will guarantee your reservation. A cancellation reminder will be sent to you 10 days prior to your visit. The remaining balance will be processed 7 days prior to your check in date if no cancellation is requested. If you cancel before the 7 day cancellation period, your balance will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. If cancellation occurs within the cancellation period, the whole balance will be forfeited and no refunds will be made. In case of a NO SHOW, the guest will be charged 100%. We may require full payment at reservation for special events and holiday stays. Group reservations cancellation policy might vary. 

Starlight Lodge Rockport - Check In and Check Out:

Check in is after 3:00 PM and check out is at 11:00 AM. On the day of your arrival, you will receive a text with your check in instructions along with your room number and door code so that when you arrive, you can go directly to your room. For your convenience, there is no need to stop in the office for check in or check out. Please make sure that we have your correct CELL phone number and contact information. If you have any concerns or problems with your stay, please feel free to call or text at 207-236-3276.

The Inn at Starlight Lodge, Bar Harbor Townhouse, Captain Nehemiah Young House, Acadia Glamping Site - Check In and Check Out: 

Check in is after 3:00 PM and Check out is before 10:00 AM

SMOKING POLICY:

Please be advised we are a smoke free property. This includes all rooms, porches, patios and public spaces. If you must smoke, we ask to please do so off property. Your cooperation is appreciated for the enjoyment of all guests. If any residual smoke smell is left in the room, a $250 fee will be charged to your credit card. 

PET POLICY:

A one-time dog fee of $50.00 per dog will apply (limit 2 dogs). Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Please do not leave your dog alone in your room for an extended period of time. If we get complaints of your dog barking while you are away, we will ask you to please not leave them alone in the room. We ask that you please pick up after your pet and dispose of it properly in the provided doggy bags located around the property. Any damage caused to the room, its furnishings or any other part of the hotel are your sole responsibility. I understand my account will be charged the cost of such damages. NO CATS, REPTILES, OR BIRDS. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or furniture. The use of the grounds are to be used at your own risk and responsibility to insure respectful interactions with other dogs and guests. 

LOBBY HOURS AND INFORMATION:

The lobby is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. We are available by phone or text for questions or concerns.  After hours, please text us at 207-236-3276 if you have an emergency. Please make sure children are accompanied by an adult in all areas. We have complimentary coffee in the office from 8 am to 11 am. We do not have daily turn service. If you need anything in your room, please text us by 10 am so we can have housekeeping respond to your request.
